Crazy XYZ, the YouTube channel run by Amit Sharma, has grown into one of India’s favorite online destinations for jaw-dropping science experiments and daring stunts.

With more than 34 million subscribers as of September 2025 and over 10 billion views, Amit has managed to build a digital empire fueled by curiosity, precision, and a bold sense of creativity.

For millions of fans, Crazy XYZ isn’t just a channel, it’s an adventure into the world of experiments that blend science with entertainment.

Born on September 11, 2000, in Bansur, Alwar, Rajasthan, Amit Sharma showed an early fascination with science. His natural curiosity led him to pursue a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the prestigious IIT Roorkee.

Those student years, combined with access to fast internet, shaped the foundation of what would eventually become his career. What began as casual experimentation soon evolved into video content creation, with Amit realising that his passion for science could inspire and entertain on a massive scale.

The journey to Crazy XYZ wasn’t straightforward. Amit first launched a channel under the name “Blade XYZ,” but monetisation challenges forced him to rethink. In 2017, he rebranded and launched Crazy XYZ, which soon captured the imagination of audiences.

The channel became known for its unique blend of experiments, gadget tests, modifications, and destruction videos, formats rarely seen in India at the time.

Viewers quickly grew hooked on the content, and today, each video garners an average of 3.6 million views, drawing a diverse audience that ranges from schoolchildren eager to learn to adults looking for entertainment or DIY inspiration.

Crazy XYZ’s meteoric rise has also reshaped the landscape of science communication in India. Amit has turned curiosity into content gold, showing that science can be both thrilling and accessible. His success has translated into impressive earnings as well.

Beyond YouTube, Amit stays connected with fans through Instagram (@amit.yt), where he shares behind-the-scenes content and collaborates with leading brands and influencers. This social media presence has strengthened his image not just as a content creator but also as a relatable figure who brings science closer to everyday life.

Of course, such daring experiments do come with challenges. While Amit and his team stress safety and include disclaimers, critics have occasionally raised concerns about copycat risks.

Some of his videos have also faced demonetization or copyright strikes, highlighting the hurdles of creating high-risk, unconventional content on YouTube. Still, these obstacles haven’t slowed him down.

Looking ahead, Amit Sharma has big plans for Crazy XYZ. His goal is not only to continue entertaining but also to reinforce the importance of STEM education among India’s youth.

He envisions collaborations with international creators, expansions into OTT platforms, and the launch of spin-off projects that broaden the Crazy XYZ universe. For him, the mission is clear: keep pushing creative boundaries while inspiring curiosity in millions.

What started as a young boy’s fascination with science has now transformed into one of India’s biggest YouTube success stories. Amit Sharma’s Crazy XYZ has proven that experiments don’t belong only in labs; they can also thrive in the digital space, turning sparks of curiosity into a global community of wonder.
