Bansi Bishnoi’s rise from a remote village in Rajasthan to becoming India’s most beloved travel vlogger is a story of grit, dreams, and authentic storytelling. Today, his YouTube channel @bansibishnoi boasts over 1 million subscribers, proving that passion and hard work can take anyone around the world

Born in April 1989 in Kotda, Raniwara, Jalore district, Rajasthan, Bansi grew up in a humble farming family. With limited access to opportunities and resources, he completed his higher secondary education in his village before moving to Ahmedabad for factory work, earning just ₹3,000 monthly to support his family.

Bansi’s journey is unique because he started with almost nothing. Despite financial challenges, he began documenting his local travels in Gujarat, using minimal savings and basic equipment.

His first breakthrough came after successfully convincing his family to let him embark on a viral trip to Nepal during the Covid lockdown, a decision that catalyzed his channel’s growth and audience engagement.

Bansi’s approach centers on honesty, resilience, and accessibility. He chose to visit countries that were off the beaten path, travelling to over 50 countries in just two years.

His vlogs show not just the glamour but the reality of globetrotting, including tough destinations like Afghanistan and rural parts of Africa, where he braved thefts, food shortages, and security threats.

Bansi keeps his content relatable, focusing on practical travel tips, local lifestyles, and stories that showcase similarities and contrasts with Indian culture. This approach gained him millions of loyal fans.

After his viral Nepal trip in 2020, Bansi’s momentum surged. By September 2025, he reached significant milestones: over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, over 2.7 million followers on Facebook, and lakhs of monthly earnings.

Bansi had visited 50+ countries in his portfolio, including places like Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Kenya.

Bansi’s vlogs offer more than travel; they represent a voice from India’s rural heartland that echoes worldwide. He motivates young people to chase unconventional dreams, showing that even the biggest journeys can begin from the smallest places.
