Ashish Mundhra Tech YouTuber Sparknherd

Ashish Mundhra, one of India’s most trusted names in tech reviews and tutorials, has launched a brand-new platform—Sparknherd. After years of building GuidingTech into a household name for honest gadget insights, Mundhra is back with a fresh approach, this time as the face and founder of his own tech community.

Ashish Mundhra is a veteran tech creator, editor, and journalist with over a decade in digital publishing. His journey began at GuidingTech, where he worked as a staff writer and video editor.

Over the years, he climbed the ranks to become Content Head for Video and later Head of Operations.

During his tenure, GuidingTech became one of India’s most reliable sources for gadget reviews, software tutorials, and troubleshooting guides.

His articles and videos didn’t just win over Indian readers; they were recognised internationally, cited by platforms like Lifehacker and The New York Times.

Mundhra’s strength lies in his approachable, jargon-free style. Whether explaining Android features, reviewing smartphones, or solving everyday tech issues, he made content that felt useful for both beginners and enthusiasts.

Under his leadership, GuidingTech’s YouTube channel grew rapidly, built a strong editorial team, and became known for its no-nonsense, trustworthy content. The platform even won awards and enjoyed a reputation for independence in an era when “influencer reviews” were often questioned.

But things shifted in 2020 when GuidingTech Media was acquired by a US-based group. Following the transition, the brand underwent internal restructuring, and Mundhra stepped down from his [acquihired] operational role in early 2025.

Not one to stay away from tech for long, Mundhra made his big return in August 2025 with Sparknherd. This new platform is his personal initiative, designed to focus on gadgets, apps, smart services, and tutorials, delivered with the same clarity and authenticity his followers loved.

Unlike his corporate role at GuidingTech, Sparknherd is community-first. The name itself combines two ideas: the “spark” of curiosity and the “herd” of like-minded people who learn and grow together.

His announcement post captured the excitement: “Back in front of the camera for all to see, this time as Sparknherd.”

Sparknherd focuses on being more interactive and audience-driven. The content blends reviews, hacks, and explainers while also taking in requests from followers. Mundhra keeps things personal, sharing milestones, behind-the-scenes updates, and reflections about his journey.

The platform currently thrives on Instagram and YouTube, where loyal fans from his GuidingTech days have already joined in. Importantly, he has stayed away from becoming a “paid influencer” and instead continues to build trust by focusing on knowledge and transparency.

Ashish Mundhra’s career highlights an important truth for creators: audience trust and content quality outlast job titles and company names.

From being a key player in a global acquisition to starting fresh as an independent founder, his resilience shows that new beginnings can be even more powerful.

For aspiring creators, Sparknherd represents more than just another tech channel; it’s a reminder that authenticity and consistency will always attract the right community.

And for everyday tech users, it’s a promise that Ashish Mundhra is back, this time even closer to the audience he built over the years.
