Acharya Prashant, the popular spiritual teacher and founder of PrashantAdvait Foundation, has now become India’s most-subscribed individual YouTube creator with over 54 Million subscribers on his Hindi channel.
Earlier, CarryMinati had the most subscribers for the longest period and was also Asia’s most-subscribed individual YouTuber. Now, he is number five with many shorts creators coming in nowadays.
Acharya Prashant has two YouTube channels — one offering content in English with over 2.5 Million subscribers, and the other channel ‘आचार्य प्रशान्त – Acharya Prashant‘ has 54 Million subscribers with Hindi content and viral shorts.
With this feat, Acharya Prashant is now the world’s most-followed spiritual leader rooted in Advait Vedanta. For over two decades, he has dedicated himself to teaching spirituality and demolishing all that is false.
His original name is Prashant Tiwari, and he holds a strong academic background with prestigious degrees from IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, he also briefly worked as a former civil services officer before becoming a spiritual leader.
His content encompasses a wide range of topics, including the Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads, and often addresses societal issues through spiritual teachings and Vedantic wisdom.
It’s the first time in the history of YouTube India that an educational channel is becoming one of the top channels. Earlier, most of the top channels were from the entertainment category and even today the most subscribed channels are owned by entertainment companies, and Acharya Prashant’s channel is 18th in the overall list.
