Next Toppers Unveils Next Toppers Juniors To Strengthen Academic Foundations

The popular Indian educational platform Next Toppers announced the official launch of its new vertical, Next Toppers Juniors, during a live broadcast on Tuesday. The expansion aims to bridge the learning gap for students in classes 6-8, providing a structured transition into the more rigorous academic demands of high school.

Founders and lead educators Digraj Singh Rajput and Prashant Kirad introduced a specialised faculty team to lead the initiative, which will operate via a dedicated YouTube channel.

The launch addresses a common challenge in the Indian education system, where middle school students often rely on rote learning rather than conceptual clarity. This lack of foundation frequently leads to difficulties in Classes 9 and 10, particularly in core subjects like mathematics and science.

To combat this, the platform is introducing a “Super 30” foundation course starting Jan. 23, which is a 30-day intensive program designed to cover the entire Class 8 syllabus for free.

The new faculty lineup includes specialised educators who will adopt fictional superhero personas to make complex topics more engaging for younger learners.

Pranav Singh Kanyal, an expert in social studies with a master’s degree in political science, joins the team to handle history, geography, and civics.

He is joined by Anjali, who will lead the science department with a focus on experimental learning and curiosity-driven lessons.

Mathematics will be spearheaded by Kishore, an educator focused on removing the math phobia many students develop during their middle school years.

Magnolia Bandopadhyay, a familiar face to existing Next Toppers students, will extend her expertise to the junior wing to strengthen English grammar and communication skills.

The team emphasized that these foundational years are critical for building the confidence necessary for competitive exams and higher secondary education.

The “Super 30” initiative is positioned as a free resource on YouTube, making high-quality coaching accessible to lakhs of students across India who may not have access to premium tuition.

By offering a 30-day sprint, the platform intends to help students currently preparing for their final examinations while simultaneously building their core concepts for the next academic year.

Next Toppers originally gained prominence as a platform for class 10 and 12 students before expanding into state boards like UP and Bihar, as well as the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) preparation.

The launch of the junior wing marks a significant step in the startup’s growth, positioning it as a comprehensive K-12 (kindergarten through 12th grade) educational provider in the competitive Indian edtech landscape.
