Bhojpuri superstar singer and actor Pawan Singh is driving unprecedented TRP for Amazon MX Player’s reality sensation ‘Rise and Fall,’ thanks to his massive celebrity presence and loyal fanbase. Known for his electrifying performances and signature style, Singh is emerging as the prime attraction on the reality stage, captivating audiences from across India.

Since joining Rise and Fall in September 2025, Pawan Singh has stood out among sixteen star contestants, including big names from Bollywood, music, and social media.

Industry observers and media outlets confirm that much of the show’s soaring TRP is credited to his appearance, with viewers tuning in specially for his dynamic persona and vocal power.

Clips featuring Singh have rapidly gone viral, showing him both in moments of conflict and commanding presence, reinforcing his status as the show’s central figure.

Even in the face of controversies and heated exchanges with fellow contestants, Pawan Singh’s popularity continues to rise.

Online fan discussions and media comparisons suggest that ‘Rise and Fall’ is outperforming similar reality franchises, primarily due to Singh’s ability to generate excitement and connect with fans.

Singh himself has acknowledged his strong TRP contribution, stating, “Even if I remain silent for 30 seconds, the TRP will follow me… It’s not arrogance, it’s my hard-earned love from the audience”.

Rise and Fall is also being watched because of its host, Ashneer Grover, an entrepreneur-turned-celebrity who first rose to fame as a judge of Shark Tank India and is known for his direct statements.

Born on 5 January 1986 in Jokhari village, Ara district, Bihar, Pawan Singh’s journey began in humble circumstances. Inspired early on by his musically inclined uncle and supported by a modest family, Singh developed a passion for music during his childhood.

He began learning singing at a young age, releasing his first Bhojpuri album ‘Odhaniya Wali’ in 1997 when he was just 11 years old. Although initial recognition was modest, his distinctive rural flavour and sincere delivery won over local audiences.

His meteoric rise came in 2008 with the superhit single ‘Lollypop Lagelu.’ The song exploded in popularity, not just in Bihar and UP but globally, earning him viral fame and opening doors to movie stardom.

Singh quickly became known as “Power Star,” releasing further hits like ‘Komariya Hila Rahi Hai,’ ‘Babuani Tere Rang Mein,’ and ‘Saiya Superstar,’ each contributing to the exponential growth of his fanbase.

Transitioning from music to cinema, Pawan Singh debuted in the Bhojpuri film industry with the movie ‘Rangili Chunariya Tohre Naam’ in 2007 and gained nationwide fame through blockbuster hits like ‘Pratigya,’ ‘Devra Bada Satawela,’ ‘Satya,’ and ‘Boss’.

Singh has received multiple awards for both singing and acting, including “Best Male Singer” at the International Bhojpuri Film Awards for his work in the film ‘Yodha’.

By 2025, Singh boasts a colossal social following with over 5 million Instagram followers, reflecting both his enduring appeal and the expansion of Bhojpuri entertainment’s reach.

Industry experts and entertainment portals continue to rank Pawan Singh among the top influencers of Indian regional entertainment, with his presence pivotal in TV show TRP ratings and music chart performance.
