Rode Creator of the Year Awards 2025

The wait is over! The RØDE Creator of the Year Awards 2025 are officially open, and this year’s edition is bigger, bolder, and more inclusive than ever. With over $200,000 in cash and prizes on the line, creators across every platform, from YouTube and TikTok to Instagram and podcasts, can now compete for global recognition.

Entries close on October 30, 2025, marking a new chapter in what’s become the world’s most anticipated celebration of online creativity.

Whether you’re filming a comedy skit from your bedroom, recording a podcast on social issues, or shooting cinematic travel vlogs through your phone, RØDE is giving everyone, big or small, the same opportunity to be recognised and rewarded for their art.

What makes the RØDE Creator of the Year Awards truly stand out is their emphasis on storytelling and craft, not just follower counts. The competition celebrates creators for originality, authenticity, and impact, ensuring that even small voices can make a big impression.

In fact, last year, one in four shortlisted creators had fewer than 10,000 subscribers, proving that RØDE values creative passion above digital metrics. This spirit of inclusivity continues in 2025, opening the door for all creators, newcomers and veterans alike, to showcase their talent on a global stage.

This year’s edition features 18 major honours, including three headline awards and fifteen Spotlight categories covering nearly every creative niche imaginable.

The Creator of the Year will receive a $25,000 cash prize and premium RØDE gear for making the biggest cultural impact online. Two additional flagship prizes include Emerging Creator of the Year ($10,000 and gear) for breakout talents, and the People’s Choice Award ($10,000 and gear), chosen through global fan voting.

Beyond these, 15 Spotlight Awards recognise excellence in categories like Comedy, Filmmaking, Gaming, Podcasting, Music, Tech & Gear, Positive Impact, and YouTube Personality of the Year.

Each Spotlight winner receives $5,000 plus gear, bringing the total reward pool to over $200,000, one of the largest in creative competition history.

Applying is effortless. Creators can submit links to their channels on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or any major platform through the official RØDE Creator Awards website. The best part? You don’t need to choose your own category. RØDE’s expert team will review every entry and place it where it fits best.

Shortlisting and final judging are handled by an international panel of creative industry experts, ensuring fair and transparent evaluation.

The People’s Choice Award, however, remains open to public voting from November 6 to November 19, allowing fans to champion their favorite creators.

All shortlisted participants will receive a RØDE Creator Pack complete with audio merchandise, gear, and an official certificate, while winners will be announced on November 20, 2025 via the competition’s official website.

The RØDE Creator Awards 2025 have partnered with industry giants like Canon UK, Nothing, Nanlite, Artlist, Mackie, SanDisk, Pelican, Notion, espresso Displays, Urth, and Miller—adding prestige and serious tech muscle to the event.

These collaborations not only elevate the prizes but also ensure that creators from every field—whether musicians, educators, filmmakers, or influencers receive tools that genuinely enhance their creative journeys.

This year’s awards are more than a contest; they’re a global movement uniting dreamers, storytellers, and innovators under one spotlight.

With its unprecedented inclusivity, transparent judging, and global exposure, the RØDE Creator of the Year Awards 2025 promise to redefine what creative recognition looks like.

For creators across the world, it’s not just about winning a trophy; it’s about having your story heard, your passion seen, and your craft celebrated on the biggest stage in the digital world.
