Ranveer Allahbadia BeerBiceps talks about fame and anonymity

Ranveer Allahbadia is a famous YouTuber and podcaster with millions of followers on social media who now misses being a nobody in a room. In a podcast on MensXP, he talked about the joy of being anonymous and doing whatever you want to do without the concern that someone is watching you.

He began his content creation journey in the year 2015 with his YouTube channel, BeerBiceps and today it has 8 Million subscribers. Later, he also started a Hindi channel named after him which has over 10 Million subscribers; and many more millions on Instagram and other social media.

BeerBiceps is one of the top creators in India who eventually pivoted to podcasting with his podcast ‘The Ranveer Show’ currently being the number one.

When asked what he misses the most after being so famous, BeerBiceps said, “Anonymity is a very beautiful thing in your life, but you realise this after getting fame that there is a joy in being anonymous.“

He also added that at this stage, people stare at him and eavesdrop when he is on the road, having dinner with his family, or even when he is on a date.

This sounds true with the recent event when he along with his girlfriend were swept away by an underwater current on a Goa beach; the Internet got flooded with guesses of her identity.

Allahbadia shared this near-death experience on Instagram with some pictures where his girlfriend’s face was hidden with a flower emoji. He has not revealed her identity officially but netizens have somewhat guessed who she is.

People tried to find her with her outfits shown in multiple posts of BeerBiceps, and she is none other than Nikki Sharma, a TV actress known for ‘Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti’ and ‘Dehleez’.

This is what happens when you’re so famous; people want to know about you everything. Ranveer Allahbadia’s realisation now makes sense as to why he misses anonymity but accepts that it’s part of the influencer life that he’s chosen.
