Harsh Beniwal YouTube Trending Stress

In a candid conversation that bridges Bollywood royalty with digital stardom, Harsh Beniwal, one of India’s most followed comedy creators and actors, opened the doors of his lavish Delhi residence to filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan.

During the latest episode of Khan’s vlog, the 29-year-old creator discussed the mental toll of chasing virality, the relief following YouTube’s removal of the “Trending” tab, and his transition from short-form sketches to mainstream acting.

Beniwal, known for his energetic skits and relatable humour, admitted that the pressure to maintain viewership statistics often led to anxiety.

He highlighted a specific shift in the platform’s interface, the removal of the “Trending” tab in July 2025, as a significant relief for creators.

“We used to stress if a video didn’t hit #1 Trending in six hours,” Beniwal told Khan. “Since they removed it, the stress is gone.“

The home tour video showcased Beniwal’s expansive property, which he purchased over two years ago solely from his content creation earnings. The house features a gaming room, a dedicated party terrace, and interiors that Khan jokingly compared to a “film set.”

Beniwal also touched on his acting career, specifically his role as “Puggi” in Dharma Productions‘ Student of the Year 2. He revealed that when he first received the casting call, he dismissed it as a prank.

The interview highlighted the pivotal role of Beniwal’s family. His father, a former wrestler, and his mother, whom he described as his “best PR agent,” were initially sceptical of his digital career.

Beniwal shared that he dropped out of college to pursue content creation, a gamble that paid off when his first check arrived, silencing doubts.
