Popular fitness creator and Beast Life founder Gaurav Taneja issued a massive 10 lakh open challenge to the leadership of supplement brand Wellcore following allegations of biased product testing.
Taneja, a prominent pilot and athlete known to millions as Flying Beast, claimed that rival influencers are intentionally adulterating his new Nano 400 creatine to make it appear inferior.
The dispute centers on the “mixability” of the product, with Taneja offering to pull his entire inventory from the market if his claims of superior solubility are proven wrong in a live, transparent setting.
The controversy erupted after fitness influencer Abhijit, an athlete associated with Wellcore, posted a video claiming that Beast Life’s creatine remained milky and failed to dissolve as quickly as Wellcore’s micronized version.
Taneja responded by alleging that the comparison video was shot in a controlled room with numerous edits and potential impurities added to the water.
To counter the claims, Taneja cited his own live launch event at a public mall where he performed the same test in front of a live audience with sealed boxes.
Gaurav Taneja utilized a “Melvin Panalytical” test (a scientific method used to measure the size of microscopic particles) to argue that his product is a revolutionary innovation in the Indian fitness industry.
According to the data presented, standard micronized creatine has a particle size of 100 micrometers, whereas his Nano 400 measures approximately 13 micrometers.
He explained that a smaller particle size increases the surface area (the total area of the object that is exposed to the liquid), which mathematically allows for 7.6 times more contact with water, leading to better absorption in the body.
The Beast Life founder expressed disappointment over the state of the creator economy, revealing that the influencer who criticized his product had previously reached out to his brand for a collaboration.
Taneja argued that when creators kill their conscience for brand payments, the credibility of the entire fitness industry suffers.
He emphasized that trust is the most critical currency in the fitness world because consumers are putting these substances into their bodies based on an influencer’s word.
Gaurav Taneja, who commands a massive following across YouTube and Instagram, has transitioned from a civil pilot to one of India’s most successful fitness entrepreneurs.
His brand, Beast Life, recently launched the Nano 400 as a purported “Gold Standard” in the industry, claiming it as the first major supplement innovation to originate in India rather than the West.
Taneja’s latest challenge requires the Wellcore founder to meet him for a live-streamed test using random batches from their respective warehouses, with the losing party potentially being forced to recall their entire production batch from the market.
