YouTube channels serving kids content are growing in huge numbers as more and more children spend their time online. One such channel from India, BabyBillion Preschool, has crossed over a billion views in a month in just a year of its inception.
Started in December 2023 by Dinesh Godara, founder of the edtech platform WiFiStudy, BabyBillion offers entertaining and educational content for kids.
Godara is now a third-time founder with two successful exits, WiFiStudy sold to Unacademy in 2018 and the fitness bike company TREAD sold to Cult.fit in 2021.
Now with BabyBillion, he is making a ‘kids content mafia’ through YouTube distribution and has plans to build a mobile app and a range of D2C products for kids aged 0-8.
It has two YouTube channels. The first channel, BabyBillion, has a mix of long-form and short videos in English, focusing on targeting US kids. It has 2 million subscribers and over 100 million monthly views.

The other channel which was created in May 2024, BabyBillion Preschool has 3 Million subscribers and crossed over a billion views in December. It has only shorts in Hindi and aims to target Indian kids.
The co-founder and CEO at BabyBillion, Dinesh Godara, shared this milestone on LinkedIn aiming for something even bigger — 10 Billion monthly views. He also compared it to the most-subscribed YouTuber MrBeast who gets around 3 billion views in a month.
He said, “This isn’t just about content creation anymore. It’s about becoming the ‘Kids Content Mafia’ — the go-to brand for anything kids love.“
