Digraj Singh Rajput has redefined what it means to be a teacher in the digital age. Born in Bhopal in 1998, Digraj’s early years were shaped by financial challenges and a determination to succeed. To support his education, he began teaching local students in offline classes.
After completing his graduation in 2019, he stepped into the world of online learning when Magnet Brains, a growing edtech startup, hired him as a Social Science teacher.
This opportunity became a turning point. His teaching approach—simple, practical, and full of real-life stories- quickly made him a student favourite.
Digraj rose to prominence during the COVID-19 lockdown when students across India relied on online classes. Through Magnet Brains, he created detailed and engaging video courses for Class 9 and Class 10 students.
His knack for storytelling, humour, and visuals made tough subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics not only easier but genuinely fun.
For thousands of students, his classes became the secret to scoring above 90% in Social Science. Many even credit him for reducing their exam fear and boosting confidence.
After Magnet Brains, Digraj briefly worked with Unacademy before starting his independent venture, “The Social Brains.”
Through his YouTube channel and study resources, he continued providing high-quality lessons, notes, and “One Shot Question Banks” for board aspirants, all free of cost.
His reach grew rapidly, making him one of the most recognisable names in student communities.
In late 2023, Digraj joined hands with fellow educators Shobhit Nirwan and Prashant Kirad to launch Next Toppers, a study app and YouTube channel tailored for CBSE and competitive exam prep.
As a co-founder and lead educator, Digraj brought creativity to the platform—introducing unique tools like “Map Kumar,” an animated mascot that made Geography engaging.
The platform quickly crossed millions of downloads and bagged the Excellence in Education award at the Times Power Icons 2025.
