Physics Wallah Founder Shows Off 80 Plus Play Buttons

The king of Indian EdTech, Alakh Pandey, has officially broken the internet after showcasing a jaw-dropping collection of YouTube Play Buttons that seems to never end.

In a high-energy video that has quickly gone viral, the Physics Wallah founder is seen surrounded by a literal mountain of silver, gold, and even diamond plaques, leaving viewers questioning if any other creator in India comes close to this haul.

The spectacle took place at his office, where Pandey decided to give his fans a rare, unfiltered look at the physical manifestations of his digital empire.

The energy in the room was electric as Pandey’s team continuously brought out crates and stacks of awards, covering an entire table until there was no space left.

At one point, the CEO joked about the sheer weight of the Diamond Play Button, which he struggled to hold while reciting the names of the dozens of channels under the Physics Wallah umbrella.

From JEE and NEET-focused channels to regional platforms in Kannada and Gujarati, the sheer scale of the operation was laid bare for the world to see.

It is not just about the numbers for Alakh, as he took a deeply emotional moment to highlight his very first Silver Play Button from 2014.

He told his audience that while the gold and diamond awards are heavy and impressive, the 100K subscriber plaque remains the most dear to his heart because it represents the two long years of struggle when he first started.

Social media has been flooded with comments from inspired students and shocked peers, with one user noting that it looks more like a warehouse than an office.

Pandey kept the narrative light and conversational, even poking fun at the fact that some of the newer gold buttons sent by YouTube have shrunk in size compared to the older versions.

He shared an anecdote about how the office atmosphere is always buzzing with new deliveries, and at one point, he even joked with his team about a missing button for a specific channel, calling them a slow team in a playful jab that showed the casual culture behind the billion-dollar startup.

The display reached a fever pitch when Pandey started a rapid-fire roll call of the awards, handing them off one by one to his staff like a relay race.

Names like Defence Wallah, UPSC Wallah, and Commerce Wallah flew by as the pile grew, eventually totalling what Pandey estimated to be between 70 to 80 buttons, with hundreds of other awards scattered across different offices.

The sheer visual of the table overflowing with shiny metal has sparked a massive debate online about the dominance of educational content on the platform.
