Anand Kumar, the acclaimed mathematician and founder of the famous Super 30 educational program, announced the launch of a new digital initiative titled Super Infinity.
The project aims to provide accessible, high-quality mathematics education to students across India through a dedicated YouTube channel and a specialized web platform.
Kumar, who gained international fame for coaching underprivileged students for the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) entrance exams, stated that this new venture will officially begin releasing educational courses on June 12.
The move marks a significant transition for the educator as he enters the creator economy to reach a wider audience beyond his physical classrooms in Patna.
Kumar explained that the core mission of Super Infinity is to combat the culture of rote learning currently prevalent in the Indian education system.
He emphasized that the platform will focus on the how and why of mathematical concepts to help students truly feel the subject rather than just calculating formulas.
The platform is designed to cater to a broad demographic, including students from class four through class 12, as well as teachers and parents.
To keep the content engaging for younger viewers, the videos will incorporate animation and visual effects (VFX) to demonstrate complex theories.
Kumar noted that while the primary focus remains on academic excellence, the content is intended to inspire a new generation of Indian thinkers to pursue high honors like the Nobel Prize or Fields Medal.
Beyond traditional lectures, the Super Infinity brand will also venture into creative storytelling to provide holistic inspiration for its subscribers.
Kumar revealed plans to release short films and music designed to motivate students and help them overcome academic pressure or personal setbacks.
The launch follows years of public demand for Kumar to make his teaching methods available online.
As a pioneer in Indian education, Anand Kumar founded Super 30 in 2002, a program that provides free tuition and boarding to 30 highly talented but economically disadvantaged students each year.
His life story was previously adapted into a major Bollywood film in 2019, further cementing his status as a cultural icon in the field of Indian pedagogy.
