Ankur Warikoo, a prominent internet entrepreneur, content creator, and founder of the online learning platform WebVeda, announced a complete restructuring of his multi-million dollar upskilling business.
The platform is permanently shutting down its traditional model of selling individual, standalone online courses to consumers.
Moving forward, the business will operate exclusively under an annual recurring membership system that opens up total access to its instructional library for a single flat fee.
The strategic pivot transforms WebVeda into a subscription service priced at 1,999 rupees per year, replacing the older framework where individual modules typically cost consumers an average of 2,175 rupees.
Under the newly unveiled architecture, subscribers will receive access to all current training modules alongside future releases, an active peer networking circle, and a consolidated hiring hub that curates professional employment listings.
The company has historically serviced approximately five lakh students across the country and generated 100 crore rupees in total revenue while maintaining profitability since its operational launch in October 2020.
Warikoo stated that the introduction of advanced artificial intelligence systems over the past three years severely reduced the structural backend cost of digital content delivery.
This technological shift influenced the executive decision to offer an expansive catalogue of skills at a significantly lower financial barrier.
To support the content volume required for a high-frequency subscription platform, the enterprise is also launching a curated production marketplace designed to recruit lesser-known instructors from smaller tier-two and tier-three Indian cities.
The updated educational framework will partition instructional material into three distinct presentation formats. The company will debut short-form video modules under ten minutes in length on a daily basis at 2:00 p.m. to accommodate mobile commuters.
Medium-length technical skills courses spanning one to three hours will launch every Friday evening, while exhaustive subject deep-dives exceeding three hours in duration will premiere on the fourth Saturday of every month.
Existing customers who previously purchased individual standalone packages from the platform will retain full lifetime access to their specific course content without being forced to pay any additional fees.
Furthermore, the company is automatically upgrading its entire historical database of five lakh students to the new premium membership tier completely free of charge for the duration of one full year.
The operational transition is supported by a dedicated mobile application available across major software marketplaces alongside a standard 14-day financial refund policy for all incoming platform subscribers.
