Pratik Jain Warns Creators Against Predatory Telegram Trading Commissions

Popular travel influencer and YouTuber Pratik Jain issued a stern warning to his audience regarding the rise of predatory trading and betting scams promoted by social media personalities.

In a video recorded against the backdrop of Dubai’s Museum of the Future, Jain exposed the deceptive nature of content that suggests “easy money” can be made through trading or private Telegram channels.

The vlogger, known for documenting his global travels, urged his followers to prioritise hard work over the hollow promises of quick wealth often seen in viral reels.

Jain revealed that many influencers who showcase luxury cars and high-end real estate, attributed to trading, are actually profiting from their own audience’s financial failures.

He explained that these creators often earn a commission (a percentage of the revenue generated), specifically when their followers lose money on the apps or platforms they promote.

This conflict of interest means the influencer’s profit is directly tied to the user’s loss, creating a cycle of exploitation that Jain described as a complete fraud.

Despite being offered significant sums of money, sometimes ranging between three to four lakh rupees for just one minute of content, Jain stated that he consistently rejects such collaborations.

He emphasised that money earned from the misfortune of others holds no value and encouraged his viewers to unfollow any creator who promotes betting or colour trading.

Jain noted that 98% of people lose money in these high-risk activities, and the lifestyle portrayed by influencers is often a curated facade involving rented properties or cars.

The creator, who manages the Pratik Jain Vlogs YouTube channel with over 1.1 million subscribers, has built a reputation for sharing authentic travel experiences across countries like Switzerland, Russia, and the Maldives.

Having started his journey as an employee in a textile market before transitioning to full-time content creation, Jain used his own background to illustrate that sustainable success comes from focus and long-term targets rather than gambling.

He concluded by telling his audience that even if he were to promote such apps in the future, they should unfollow him immediately to protect their own interests.
