Popular UK creator and podcast host Josh Larkin, aka TheBurntChip, has officially been named the “Fastest YouTuber” by Formula 1 driver Lando Norris.
In a new video released today on Norris’s gaming and lifestyle channel, Quadrant, TheBurntChip outpaced a lineup of fellow creators in a series of chaotic, LEGO-themed driving challenges.
The video features Norris acting as judge and race director, putting the influencers through a gauntlet of speed and precision tests.
The participants included “The Fellas” podcast co-host TheBurntChip, Quadrant streamer RiaBish, commentary YouTuber ArthurTV, stunt creator Zac Alsop, and Quadrant presenter Izzy Hammond.
The competition was split into three gruelling rounds designed to test multitasking and driving control.
The first round required teams to build the tallest LEGO tower possible while one member drove laps, a challenge that immediately eliminated the “Blue Team” of SV2 (Emmanuel) and his partner.
The second round was a precision slalom course. Drivers had to navigate cones, perform a 360-degree turn, and park within a “pit wall” box. Penalties were harsh: one second added for every cone hit and five seconds for hitting the wall.
The final round was a classic qualifying session. The remaining drivers, TheBurntChip, RiaBish, Zach, Izzy, and ArthurTV, had five minutes to set their fastest lap time.
Despite spin-outs and aggressive driving from the pack, TheBurntChip clocked the fastest time, securing the win. “I don’t know what it is,” Larkin joked as Norris handed him the prize, a custom-built LEGO orb trophy.
