KSI YouTube earnings revealed during Michael McIntyre’s Big Show

Prominent British internet personality and entrepreneur Olajide “JJ” Olatunji, widely known as KSI, had his private YouTube revenue and channel analytics revealed during a television appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show this weekend.

The disclosure occurred during the program’s popular “Send to All” segment, where host and comedian Michael McIntyre took control of the creator’s smartphone to browse through his personal apps and message his contacts.

While scrolling through the device, McIntyre accessed the YouTube Studio app, a mobile tool used by creators to track channel performance and monetization.

The app displayed that KSI’s main channel had generated an estimated revenue of $105,000 over a recent 28-day period.

The data also showed 17.8 million views and 3.8 million hours of watch time, highlighting the massive scale required to generate six-figure monthly earnings from the platform.

For aspiring creators, the “Estimated Revenue” figure in YouTube Studio represents the projected amount a channel earns from advertisements, channel memberships, and Super Chat before platform fees and taxes are deducted.

The broadcast also provided a rare glimpse into other key performance indicators (KPIs) for a top-tier channel. KSI’s dashboard showed a gain of over 77,100 new subscribers within the same month, bringing his total subscriber count on that specific channel to more than 16.8 million.

Despite the high revenue figure shown on screen, the creator noted that he had been “working hard” to maintain the channel’s growth.

It is important to note that the revenue figure reflects only one month of activity from a single channel and does not include income from his other massive ventures.

The 32-year-old creator first rose to fame in 2009 by filming video game commentary from his bedroom and has since built a multi-million dollar empire.

Beyond his personal channels, which collectively boast over 40 million subscribers, Olatunji is a co-founder of the popular Sidemen creator collective.

His business portfolio has expanded significantly in recent years to include mainstream industries. He is the co-founder of Prime Hydration, a global beverage brand launched with former rival Logan Paul, and Misfits Boxing, a promotional company that pioneered the trend of influencer prize-fighting.
