“Stop Comparing Your Life To Ours,” Says Mythpat Following Anurag Dobhal Incident

Gaming creator Mythpat warns fans that the luxury seen on social media is often a facade, following the shocking car crash of Anurag Dobhal, aka The UK07 Rider.

Popular Creator Mythpat Addresses Mental Health After UK07 Rider Hospitalization

Prominent Mumbai-based gaming creator and lifestyle entertainer Mithilesh Patankar, known to his millions of followers as Mythpat, issued a stark warning about the deceptive nature of digital fame following a critical incident involving fellow YouTuber Anurag Dobhal.

Dobhal, the automotive vlogger behind the massive channel The UK07 Rider, was hospitalized in Meerut after deliberately crashing his Toyota Fortuner into a highway divider during a live broadcast on Instagram.

Mythpat, who has previously collaborated with Dobhal, confirmed that while the situation was dire, the creator is currently conscious and receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The incident has reignited a nationwide conversation about the psychological toll of the creator economy and the gap between online personas and private reality.

Patankar emphasized that the displays of extreme wealth, such as Dobhal’s collection of 12 super bikes and luxury cars, do not insulate creators from severe mental distress.

He noted that the “perfect lives” showcased on screens are often carefully curated highlights that mask deep-seated family conflicts and personal struggles.

Mythpat urged his audience to break the habit of comparing their daily lives to the polished content they see on social media platforms.

He candidly shared that his own life, which often appears seamless to his 17 million subscribers, is filled with the same “un-glamorous” arguments and stresses that any ordinary person faces.

He described the constant need to project an image of success as a “toxic cycle” that can lead to isolation and despair when the camera is turned off.

In an effort to turn the tragedy into a learning moment for aspiring creators, Mythpat explained that he would keep advertisements active on his response video to ensure the YouTube algorithm prioritizes the message.

He pledged to donate 100% of the revenue generated from the video to mental health charities. He explained that videos without monetization are often suppressed by the platform, and his goal was to use the system to reach as many vulnerable viewers as possible.

Mithilesh Patankar is a pioneer in the Indian YouTube space, known for his gaming commentary and high-production vlogs.

Anurag Dobhal, aka The UK07 Rider, is a Dehradun-based creator who rose to mainstream fame for his vlogs following his stint on the reality show Bigg Boss 17.

The crash on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway occurred just days after Dobhal posted a two-hour video alleging severe mental harassment by family members, illustrating the growing crisis of mental health within the high-pressure world of Indian digital stardom.
